blekko: a new beginning

blekko has been a faithful search engine to a small, but rebellious group of people since its public launch in 2010 by Rich Skrenta (made the world's first computer virus) and his team.

It underwent a redesign in 2013.

We will be using the 2013 redesign version. We will also be using a yellow color scheme for private beta testing.

What we did

We started a new search engine. It was called lots of different things - most of which were related to reptiles.

But then we thought: why don't we remake blekko, but today?

Guess what: we're nearly done. blekko 2 should be released as a public beta in spring of 2026.

Yes, blekkoman is back.
